Chris Fox: We chose Chris Fox to act in the beginning of the song as he is the lead singer of the band Parazali this way the audience will identify with the band more and will be familiar with the video when it appears.
James Ashwin: We chose James Ashwin to appear in the second part of the video as he is the drummer of the band. He also does a solo drum beat in the middle of the song. This means that he is important to the song instrumentally. We also wanted the video to display all three band members and not just use one.
Joe Bibby: We chose Joe Bibby to appear in the video as he is the bassist of the band; although he does not have any solos we wanted him to appear in the video to complete the band and the three stories.
Actress
Lucy Cowper: (Main actress)
We chose Lucy Cowper to appear in the video as the main actress as she is very good at acting. She is also very contactable which will be easy for us to get hold of her.

Interview with a Fan
Did you like the name of the band when you first heard of them?
Yeahh, it was pretty different. They caught my eye when I first seen them
Do you like the meaning of the lyrics?
Yes. They have a deeper meaning to them. The lyrics are based on strong metaphors. It's not true about what you see is what you get.
How did you first hear the band?
One of my friends had come across them on Myspace and had recommended them to me.
What is you favourite song of there?
Alaxia because of the sound of the guitar playing in it.
What make them special?
The singer is pretty cool and has a unique voice. This makes them stand out.
How long have you liked them for?
About a year now
Have you ever seen them live?
I have seen them 3 time in Manchester, their really good live, they put on a really good performance. They were better than I expected, I think it cause of their uniqueness.

The decisions we chose on costume and makeup for the music video Cellmate is casual as this is following the connotations of a general music video as we are not trying to make them appear superficial. 
We chose to dress James Ashwin in a red tshirt blue denim jeans and a grey hoodie in the narrative of the video as we wanted him to look very casual. We then chose to dress him in grey denim jeans and a black band top in the performance part of the video although this is not as fashionable as Chris Fox we wanted to dress the band in what they feel most comfortable in to express the bands mix of personalities.
We chose to dress Chris Fox in black skinny jeans, white pointy shoes and a black top for the beginning of his storyline. Due to him always wearing this type of clothing this will make him look ordinary and un- superficial also familiar to the audience. We will then see him in a tshirt, skinny jeans, blazer, black pointy shoes and glasses. This will show that he looks very creative and fashionable.

We chose to dress Joe Bibby in casual clothes consisting of a and jeans and pumps. We chose this as we want to follow what the other two are wearing to show he is similar to the rest of the band.
We chose to dress Lucy Cowper in grey jeans, black shirt and black pumps this is quite casual however girly which emphasises her feminine side yet being similar to everyone else.

Connotations And Features Of A Music Video
The main connotations and features of a music video is that the visual elements used are generally amplified this is where the video goes beyond the lyrics being shown this is frequently used to show a consequence. The band is often used in the music video if not performing acting in the video. This shows that the music video has been mainly created to suit the artist and their preferences. The videos have the connotations of being narrative based and the camera movement shown matches the beat of the song. The camera is often used in the method of closeups this identifies the stars image which is often amplified through the genre. The special effects are usually simple and there is often more than one location used. There is a closed narrative which means it follows only the artist themselves and not someone else. The artist tends to be shown as unsuperficial and very ordinary.

Band Information
Parazali are a three piece band from Warrington. They were formed three and a half years ago and play live regularly. They write all their own material and are a very creative band. Parazali are a hard rock band who fuse lots of genres in their music: Hard rock, Metal , Classic Rock, Blues , Roots and Funk. Their overall inspirations are Jimi Hendrix, The Band of Gypsies and Zakk Wylde's Pride and Glory. They are currently looking for a label. The band members are:

James Ashwin (Drums)
Joe Bibby (Basist)
